FASTFLEX: Flexible Sprinkler Hose
The Tyco FASTFLEX is a unique sprinkler drop assembly comprised of the following: branchline adapter nipple, stainless steel flexible hose with two slip nuts, sprinkler reducer, and several different lightweight ceiling bracket components.
Using FASTFLEX can save time and costs since the system can be installed in false ceilings without cutting and threading pipes associated with installing a drop, armover, and elbows. FASTFLEX makes it possible to test and charge the system with water before the ceiling grid is installed. Once the ceiling grid is in position, the FASTFLEX hoses can be reshaped to suit the final sprinkler location without draining the system.

UFBX: Flexible Hoses
The hoses are annularly corrugated formed from butt weld rigid tube. Depending on the application, required working pressure and conditions of operation, a single or double layer of wire braid is applied externally to the hose to restrain it, increasing its ability to withstand the pressure, increasing hoop strength and protection from abrasion. The extent of braiding, gauge and angle of lay is calculated carefully to maximize performance.
