Figure S855 Tee Strainers

The Figure S855 Tee Strainer is rated for the following pressures:
• Sizes 50mm – 125mm (2" – 5"): 5,171 kPa (750 psi) at 38°C (100°F)
• Size 150mm (6"): 4,826 kPa (700 psi) at 38°C (100°F) • Size 200mm (8"): 4,137 kPa (600 psi) at 38°C (100°F) • Size 250mm (10"): 3,447 kPa (500 psi) at 38°C (100°F) • Size 300mm (12"): 2,758 kPa (400 psi) at 38°C (100°F)
The Tee Strainer is designed to remove particles from pipelines where a compact, accessible strainer is needed for the protection of pumps, meters, valves, and similar mechanical equipment . The inlet and outlet ends are suitable for installation with GRINNELL Couplings that provide quick and easy installation .
The cover is secured by a Figure 772 Coupling for easy access to the screen . The cover is tapped and plugged to allow for draining .
The Figure S855 Tee Strainer perforated screen has the following perforations:
• Sizes 50mm – 150mm (2" – 6") = 3 .2mm (1⁄8")
• Sizes 200mm – 300mm (8" – 12") = 4 .0mm (5⁄32") Note: Other perforation sizes are available upon request. Specify particle
retention size when ordering nonstandard screens.

• Tensile strength, minimum 448,159 kPa (65,000 psi) • Yield strength, minimum 310,264 kPa (45,000 psi) • Elongation in 50mm (2"), minimum 12%
Screen
• 20 gauge type 304 stainless steel ASTM A 240 for Sizes 50mm – 150mm (2" – 6")
• 18 gauge type 304 stainless steel ASTM A 240 for Sizes 200mm – 300mm (8" – 12")
Coating
• Black enamel paint
• Orange – Non-lead paint
